“Are you a stranger to the dark? Don’t hide away I want your broken parts. Don’t be ashamed of all your scars. Someone will love you as you are. I won’t let them break you down to dust. There is a place for us. Because we are GLORIOUS!” Adopted from The Greatest Showman: THIS IS ME This song really spoke to me when I heard it the first time. Something we have been thru is not all of who we are. We are glorious just as we are. Every one of us is a work in progress and that is what I am here for to help you heal those parts of you that are hurting you and to help you show the world that you that is GLORIOUS.
The main takeaway from working with me would be that you will feel like you are in a safe space. A space free from judgment or opinions and a place where you can be heard and hopefully experience some healing. You will be treated with respect while in my care. We will dig into the places you need to go as long as you feel safe doing so.
My main areas of treatment in no particular order are: Trauma, Grief Counseling, LGBTQ+ community, Family Counseling and substance abuse. I see both individuals as well as couples.

Have you weighed the pros and cons but still struggle to determine your next move? Does it feel like your feelings are often dismissed or misunderstood? No matter what you do, does it feel like you cannot escape that feeling of loneliness? Are you struggling to overcome an obstacle that is impacting your ability to be in your ideal relationship? This can even include being in a relationship with yourself. These valid and challenging questions can cause significant unwanted tension. The more it prolongs, it can lead to the dreaded feeling of being trapped. If this is the case, therapy is a great place to start. When working with me, I want all my clients to feel comfortable and safe while feeling heard and validated. I find that therapy is most effective when clients have a space to express their most vulnerable feelings while being authentically themselves. Everyone brings uniqueness to this therapeutic space, which is something that should be acknowledged and respected. In this judgment-free zone, I want you to educate me about yourself and openly discuss the issues you are facing as I listen with intent. I am here to help you better understand yourself (and your partner or partners). Together, we will work to develop attainable goals to help you achieve the results you are looking for. After earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, my work experience has revolved around helping others through case management. I am currently working on earning a Master’s in Social Work at Tulane University which continues to ignite my passion for helping others. My studies lean towards the complex dynamic of couples, both monogamous and modern relationships, and understanding how to implement effective mechanisms to dissect complications that can arise from them. Another area of focus has been LGBTQAI+ community-related issues, such as individuals struggling with their sexual orientation and gender identity. I’m happy to be here and happy that you’re here. Specialties: 1. Relationship issues 2. Kinks/Fetishes/BDSM 3. Gender Affirmation 4. Self-Love/Self-Esteem 5. Stress Management 6. Childhood Trauma
