I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Social Welfare. I am currently a UNF MSW Student Intern and have worked in the field of mental health for 5 years. My previous work experience includes working in outpatient clinical care and inpatient emergency care. This will be my 2nd internship, and I am excited to join the Transformative Growth Staff.

My areas of treatment specialties include depression, anxiety, and life skills to reduce stress through a person-centered approach and Mindfulness techniques. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), WPATH Standards, Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation issues, and trauma/abuse. My therapy is trauma-informed, gender affirming, and culturally competent. I have extensive history working with BIPOC clients, gender expansive/NB/GNC youth, and young people with special needs.

Something we have been thru is not all of who we are. We are glorious just as we are. Every one of us is a work in progress and that is what I am here for to help you heal those parts of you that are hurting you and to help you show the world that you that is GLORIOUS.

The main takeaway from working with me would be that you will feel like you are in a safe space. A space free from judgment or opinions and a place where you can be heard and hopefully experience some healing. You will be treated with respect while in my care. We will dig into the places you need to go as long as you feel safe doing so.

My main areas of treatment in no particular order are: Trauma, Grief Counseling, LGBTQ+ community, Family Counseling and substance abuse. I see both individuals as well as couples.
